Our Lapsang Souchong is a moderately smokey black tea from China. This tea is made from the older leaves lower down the tea bush and not the usual two leaves and a bud. The tea is smoked over exotic woods to give it the distinctive flavour that you expect from a Lapsang.

Is tea addictive?
I think this tea must be addictive. Smokey full flavour, with great depth of character. I cant stop drinking it.
My Love Affair With Tea
I began searching out different teas from the early 1970's as a young twenty something year old. Different teas atracted me from then on and this tea is amazing. I smell it as I spoon some into my special tea pot. The smell is smoky,intoxicating,it reminds me of something, and is just very sexy, that is if a tea can be, if you know what I mean. Both my husband and I enjoy this wonderful tea. I will ceratinly be buying more. Thankyou , More Tea, for bringing this tea to your clients.
It really is smoky!
The smoke flavour is a bit too much for me but it's not completely overpowering. Might be nice to cook with, say in a creme brulee or fish dish.
