This tea is harvested in the early months of the year when frost occurs at altitudes higher than 2,000 meters. The frost has an effect on the leaves (the Garden claim the tea bushes are 100 years old!), creating a tea with intense flavours.
The leaves are tightly rolled, brownish coloured you might be able to make out the frost effect if you look closely at spent leaves. The liquor is golden yellow, aromatic and fresh both in the cup and the nose, with subtle muscatel notes.
