For tasting, 2.8 grams of tea was steeped in 140ml water at 100⁰C in a half size tasting mug for five minutes.

Dry appearance: orange to red rooibos matrix with a liberal mix of dried berry pieces; shows a clean sharp fruity aroma

Infusion – aroma: a promising serenade of warm fruit notes

Liquor – visual: a crystal clear burnt orange liquor colour

Liquor – taste: a very well balanced choir of fruits that complement the red rooibos nicely – true harmony

Summary: perhaps this blend is misnamed as Blackcurrant? It should be called Everycurrant – each fruit in the mix plays its part, none predominates, yet any one would be missed if removed.
