Honestly, it just seemed smart to me to purchase the subscription, for the site-wide reduction, plus a great little Gaiwan set? That arrived very quickly and well packaged so absolutely no damage was sustained, and my friends are already envious!
Took a little less than a day for the Tea Buffs access to be granted to me, along with the 5% off, but I was in no rush, and I was pleased to see the variety of special teas on offer.
What I would have liked would have been maybe a tea sample and/or leaflet with the Gaiwan. It isn't necessarily, obviously, because I have loose tea and I know how to use it, but I thought it would have been a nice touch. Just a thought!
Anyway, I'm off to buy more tea! Thank you NBT!

Good value
The gaiwan and cups are a nice touch, being glazed they are very nice for testing teas.
The actual tea buffs section is rather nice, small family grown teas and a nice selection...
The subscription is a manual process, so just have to wait for someone to give access.
I would suggest ordering the jug and strainer at the same time, but you can happily get by without.
