Good news from India is that the caddy spoon shipment is now on its way, and fingers crossed I’ll have some solid news on the First Flushes next week. The gardens who had picked and processed some tea before the lockdown have apparently produced some good teas, which will be on their way soon. Though they didn’t produce as much as normal, so the prices are likely to be higher and the supply very limited. Teas produced since the gardens where reopened is said to be very poor, with a few gardens not producing.
I have got more teas back into stock this week. Rosebuds, Strawberry Pepper, Viscount Grey, Sencha Uji, Sencha Yamato, Glowing Green Kenyan, Peppermint, Ginger, Burdock and the Liquorice & Peppermint Soother. We have got a couple of new teas, which I hope to get up soon.
