This is a yellow tea from the aptly named region of Huang Shan (Yellow Mountain), which is the province of Anhui. It is large wiry leaf, produced in the traditional Chinese method. It has a distinct flavour with hints of roasted nuts, coffee and slight chocolate notes. It is very drinkable and is currently Quinnan's favourite tea.

Love the nutty smell

Another new tea to me in the advent calendar. I had never tried yellow tea before and brewed this in my glass flute Gong Fu style. I've so far had 3 infusions and left it for 30-50 sec each time.
It has a very distictive cooked nuts aroma, like freshly roasted hazelnuts and a mild, non astringent flavour. Very easy to drink.
Another tea I'll be buying more of.

Gorgeous bouquet of chrysanthemum with a touch of ganja. Robust but subtle taste and beautiful yellow amber colour. I love it and have just come to this site to buy more. Suitable for multiple infusions

It's delicious!

This one is something a bit different for me, not being accustomed to yellow teas. It's somewhere between a mild black and oolong tea with its own flavour as well. Not nearly as much of an acquired taste as pu-erh.
