This is a great oolong. Produced from Camelia Sinensis var Sinensis bushes grown on one of the Toba Wangi tea estates in Java. 

It is a broad large lightly twisted leaf with a great aroma. In the medium range of oolongs with a light roast. The aroma of the dry leaf is is rich and fruity, the liquor aroma is full of promise floral notes and fruitiness. The liquor itself is smooth and well rounded with strong orchid notes.

This tea is good for several infusions, is great for Gong Fu brewing and definitely a tea to be savoured.

Good quality tea

Not tried Indonesian Oolongs before, but this is a really interesting example. Like a gentle light roasted Ali Shan Oolong, but more restrained floral notes, tempered by a light cinnamon spice that has lit up a grey damp afternoon. Onto 4th steeping and still plenty of character. Bought on a whim and very happy I did.
