This dark pearl is cultivated in the Tai Tung region in Easten Taiwan and has been fermented longer than most other oolongs.
The region has excellent climatic conditions with good rainfalls and plenty of sunshine which form ideal conditions for this tea. The leaves are carefully plucked and rolled into shape by hand. The glowing amber cup is full of bright fruity flavours.
This is a tea worth infusing several times and experimenting with different temperatures and brewing times.
