This is a traditional black tea, made in small quantities from Xi Hu Westlake lung ching bushes.
The leaf is dark, almost black, twisty. The liquor is red, orange in colour. It is aromatic, very slightly sweet, but also feels dry. It has a pleasant astringency and lots of flavour, with some light mineral notes.

Delicious
This was today's advent calendar tea and I came hunting for it after drinking it. A tasty black tea with slightly nutty tones. Not too much tannin. I got a second cup out of the leaves but it's not as nice as the first cup. Lovely large leaves. Pleasant to drink after dinner.
