Naturally grown butterfly pea flowers sourced froma small garden in Thailand. Butterfly pea tea is widely consumed in Vietnam and Thailand. The flowers infuse a bright blue beverage which can be enjoyed hot or cold. Traditionally in several regions they are blended with lemongrass. The addition of acid will make the liquor change colour, from blue to purple through to pink, making it a very colourful drink
You can use the infusions to colour all sorts of food and drink dishes. It is naturally caffeine free and contains a mix of antioxidants and other benefical compounds.
Taste wise it has a smooth, woody and lightly earthy taste, a hint of sugar snap peas and a very light nuttiness.
