This matcha comes from the Uji growing area of Japan where it is organically cultiavted. Legend says they have been making tea here since the 13th century. The tea is grown at altitudes of 250m, in calcium rich soil with plenty of ground fog. Which helps give the tea is complex taste. 

The liquor is emerald green, the scent sweet and fruity and the taste aromatic and full bodied.
