Nilgiri means 'blue mountain', and refers to a mountain tea district in the South of India high above the plains, where top quality teas are cultivated. The taste and freshness are reminiscent of the best Ceylon's, but typically are sweeter in the cup. This tea is organically grown.

Bright amber colour, leafy, refreshing, and a delicate taste.

Lovely aroma, delicious layered flavour.

The Teabag Converter!

This is my favourite everyday black tea and it's what I like to call "The Teabag Converter".

We've all got friends who say they don't like loose leaf tea and they just want a normal cup of builders tea they can put milk and sugar in. Well, I've made a pot of Nilgiri for lots of people who say that and they've all said it's the best cup of tea they've ever had.

Works beautifully with milk and sugar (if that's your thing) and tastes like a proper loose leaf version of that terrible builders teabag stuff. It's gorgeous and brews to perfection in 3-4 minutes.
