Shipments and returns


Within the UK is £1 per order, and dispatched via Royal Mails 48 hour tracked service. Please allow  upto 15 days for delivery of your order from the date of despatch. We cannot resend orders until this time has elapsed.

You can upgrade to 24 hour tracked service for an extra £1.

Should Royal Mail be unable to deliver your order they will hold it for two weeks and then return it to us. It can take up to 28 days for us to be aware of non delivered orders. We will resend orders once. If return occurs a second time customers will be refunded their order amount less all postal charges incurred.

Charge for next working day delivery is £6.00 including VAT via our DHL Courier Service for orders placed before 1pm or by Royal Mail next working day delivery.  

 For International orders the shop calculates the shipping cost based on the weight of the packed parcel (which will be more than the weight of the tea), the cost is based on Royal Mails fixed overseas rates.  The first tier is 0-2kg (that is 2kg of packed tea and not 2kg of tea). Especially for larger orders we maybe able to obtain a cheaper shipping quote using a different shipping carrier. Email us with your order for a quote.


Orders recieved before 1pm will be despatched the same day where possible Monday to Friday. Orders placed over the weekend will be despatched on the Monday. We don't work on bank holidays. 


Under the new Consumer Contracts regulation (contact Quinnan if you would like a copy) you have 14 days to cancel an order for any reason whatsoever, from the date you recieve the goods. You can communicate this by email, phone, fax or by using the returns section of this website. 

Once we have recieved the goods back we will refund you the cost of goods as well as the original shipping cost. We will only refund the return cost where goods are faulty.
