There are many ways of enjoying Matcha. This guide is focusing on the the ways of making cold matcha drinks. Matcha isn’t really infused or brewed, as with other teas, it is more about suspending the very finally ground whole leaves throughout a liquid.
Iced Matcha Latte
You need about 250ml of milk which can be dairy or non dairy. My personal favourites are the regular Koko milk and the Almond Breeze Unsweetened. Add ice and 1.5g of Matcha.
Blend and serve.
Water Bottle Matcha
This is my favourite way of enjoying matcha (also works with powdered Gyuokuro if you can find it). You can use a standard 500ml bottle of water, and drink a little or take a refillable bottle and add 470ml of water. Add 2g of Matcha powder. Put the lid on and shake for a about thirty seconds and then enjoy. You don’t have to drink it all at once you can leave it in the fridge to chill.
